This page said to apply synthetic division. I wasn't aware of this type of division existing or that other types of division rather that plane ol' division were possible. That of course begs the question, what's synthetic division?
I don't know how to post without commenting so i'm commenting. I do not know what synthetic division is and how it is applied. Also in finding the rational zeros i do not understand completely. It says because the leading coefficient is 1, the possible rational zeroes are 1. Does this mean that every zero is established by looking at the leading term? -Tristan
