So I missed some pretty important stuff on tuesday. I feel like Jane here... I have to say I understand regression as much as the next guy, but I have no concept of the Partial Function bit that I missed. Anyone who took some typed notes want to send theirs to me? julianfraize@yahoo.com some posts on the blog summing up the idea and its use would really help too. Thanks Guys!

    Thank you for the offer Tashi! As an exercise, could you try to explain the methods in words. I ask because I find it a great challenge to write, in plain English, about mathematics but I believe the task to be a good opportunity to check ones understanding!
