Today in class we talked a lot about limits and about e and things like
that. We reviewed a formula and graph for e. The formula was e=LIM(1+1/N)^N.
And the graph was just normal started off then went up but the problem was that
it said the graph was becoming and changing but it was also said to be a
constant. This creates problems because it is controversial saying that
something is changing but it is a constant. It is becoming but no complete and
it is still a constant. And the thing that makes it messed up is the y=e
asymptote because the line cannot go past that asymptote. Depending on who is
looking at it, it can either be controversy or accepted. The horizontal
asymptote that started the conversation was identified that if x has a limit
then y is a constant then the e conversation started. It is confusing when we
got to the question about how x is defined by infinity I think that was said
and how things just keep going, confusing.
